We are in the Carsic village of Ceroglie, just behind the bay of Sistiana and at the foot of mount Hermada.
If you are coming from...
West (Venice, Monfalcone, ...)
... once you arrive to Sistiana, proceed to the end of the houses, more precisely up to the fork Trieste - Aurisina then turn immediately left, following the indications to Visogliano and Malchina. In Malchina you will find the indications to Ceroglie. Follow the arrows to the centre .... and you will see our red arrow with the sheep. In Ceroglie you will find the little church of SS. Cirillo and Metodio. Drive along the short slope at its right, park your car and walk for 20 metres !
East (Trieste, Opicina, ...)
... follow the indications to Prosecco and drive through the village (pay attention to the narrow street in the centre) down to Campo Sacro. Turn right following the signs to Gabrovizza and Sgonico. After Gabrovizza keep your left to Sales and Precenico (mind NOT to cross the border) then again left to Malchina. In Malchina you will find the indications to Ceroglie. Follow the arrows to the centre .... and you will see our red arrow with the sheep. In Ceroglie you will find the little church of SS. Cirillo and Metodio. Drive along the short slope at its right, park your car and walk for 20 metres !
