Our flock lives as much as possibe at the open air and at every season corresponds a pasture. The transfer from a pasture to another or from the sheepfold to the pasture is called transhumance. It is a custom almost completely desappeared today, which along the centuries was heavily conditioning the life of the shepherd, who could not count on the modern structures such as stables and sheepfolds or milking and feeding plants.
By tradition, we are happy to share this extraordinary farming adventure with our friends who dwell in the city. By doing that, they can approach to the nature in an unusual and fascinating way.
The track of about 20 Km from/to our stalls of Ceroglie crosses hills and Carsic dolinasup to the magnificent woods of Castelvecchio, near Sagrado and Gorizia.
